122bottoni tells a story of craftsmanship and innovation.
Italy, years‘50, a young girl challenges the stylistic customs of the era creating a precious and unique garment: a dress redefined in damask silk with 122 buttons entirely handmade.
This desire to experiment has been handed down by that talented girl, by now elderly, to her nephew, who makes her own and now proposes a brand of unisex garments designed to enhance both male and female physicality.
The originality of the models, together with the research of quality fabrics, attention to detail, the uniqueness of tailoring packaging are some of the ingredients that make the brand 122bottoni contemporary, but at the same time faithful to the local manufacturing tradition.
All garments are designed and produced by hand in Italy.
The project combines the passion of two boys for fashion with their different skills in the stylistic and communicative dress.
Surrounded by small artisanal realities, especially tailoring, have grown with the will to maintain and enhance a precious culture that today is in danger of being forgotten.
A tailored culture that pays attention to the quality of the fabric, details, and finishes. For this reason, they entrust the packaging of the 122 buttons to the small local laboratories. Every garment made entirely by hand becomes so unique.
